| Welcome to Moon Valley Australian Shepherds. We are a small hobby kennel located in the town of Glen Ellen in the Sonoma Valley Wine Country, about an hour north of San Francisco. Moon Valley refers to the picturesque "Valley of the Moon" named by author Jack London who lived and wrote nearby. We have three passions: good food and wine, the game of soccer, and our Aussies, Macy, Miya, Bailey, and Luna. We love our Aussies and enjoy them as an integral part of our family. Miya, a rescued red merle, is very smart, protective, lanky, and aloof. Macy is our first showgirl, has given us two great litters and everyone knows she is Rich's favorite. Bailey, from Macy's first litter has a fantastic temperament and became a Champion at 15 months. Rowdy, his name says it all. He is from Macy’s second litter, currently showing in puppy classes. We are very sad at the recent loss of our beloved friend Sr. Breeder Judge Cathy David (Melody Aussies). Her life was too short. We are eternally grateful to Cathy for entrusting us with Macy and becoming our mentor in all things Aussie. May she rest in peace. Thank you for visiting our site, |
